Quick facts:Ability Meters
The Ability Meter is a core combat resource in 33 Immortals that powers each weapon’s Special Ability. Every weapon has its own unique meter, named and themed according to the weapon’s identity — such as Justice, Greed, Hope, or Sloth. Managing the Ability Meter is essential for unleashing powerful special moves and gaining the upper hand in battle.
Overview[edit | edit source]
Each Weapon comes with an associated Ability Meter that fills through specific in-combat actions. The energy stored in the meter is consumed when using the weapon’s Special Ability, often triggering powerful effects like area slows, high damage bursts, or defensive shields.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
- The meter is unique per weapon and cannot be transferred or shared
- Some meters regenerate passively, while others require attacks to fill
- Maximum meter size may be affected by Relics, Perks, or Weapon Mastery
- Using a Special Ability usually consumes either a fixed amount or the full meter
Weapon-Specific Meters[edit | edit source]
Justice – Sword of Justice[edit | edit source]
- Fills by hitting enemies with basic attacks
- Used to block damage and trigger counterattacks via Guard
- Max base: 50
- Some Mastery traits grant passive Justice regeneration
Greed – Daggers of Greed[edit | edit source]
- Builds quickly through combo chains on enemies
- Consumed entirely with the Takedown Special Ability
- Max base: 66
- Begins draining after 3 seconds if not maintained
Hope – Bow of Hope[edit | edit source]
- Determines the number of arrows available
- Recalls arrows with the Special Ability, dealing piercing damage
- Max base: 6
- Arrows persist in the environment until recalled
Sloth – Staff of Sloth[edit | edit source]
- Used to cast large AoE slows via Torpor
- Regenerates passively over time
- Max base: 100
- Some traits modify recharge behavior or strength of the effect
Strategy[edit | edit source]
- Monitor your meter closely before triggering Special Abilities
- Build relic synergy around meter generation or cost reduction
- Choose Perks that complement your weapon’s meter flow
- Time usage during Co-op Powers or Stagger windows for maximum effect
Visual Indicator[edit | edit source]
- Appears as a colored bar near the bottom of the screen
- Meter style and color match the weapon’s theme
- Glows or pulses when full and ready to activate
