Quick facts:Sloth
Sloth is the exclusive Ability Meter of the Staff of Sloth in 33 Immortals. It powers the weapon’s powerful Special Ability called Torpor, which slows enemies in a large area and enables crowd control strategies. Sloth is a resource that passively regenerates over time, making it unique among other ability meters that require direct combat to charge.
Overview[edit | edit source]
Unlike meters like Justice or Greed, which are filled through attacks, Sloth recharges slowly and steadily on its own. Managing Sloth effectively is key to maximizing control over the battlefield, especially during elite encounters and boss fights.
How to Generate Sloth[edit | edit source]
- Sloth regenerates passively over approximately 33.3 seconds
- Basic and Charge Attacks with the Staff of Sloth also contribute small amounts of Sloth on hit
- The meter is consumed fully upon casting Torpor
- Some Mastery traits modify the way Sloth is generated or consumed
Usage[edit | edit source]
Special Ability – Torpor[edit | edit source]
- Slows enemies in a large area
- Consumes all Sloth upon use
- Duration and effectiveness scale with amount of Sloth stored
- The AoE width increases if the ability is charged before release
- 2-second cooldown after casting
Mastery Synergy[edit | edit source]
Sloth is heavily influenced by Weapon Mastery traits for the Staff of Sloth:
- Lethargy – Increases slow strength but removes passive Sloth regen
- Torpor Wave – Transforms Torpor into a projectile wave
- Outburst – Periodically damages enemies affected by slow
- Scattered Orbs and Echoing Orbs enhance Sloth-focused playstyles
Co-op Synergy[edit | edit source]
Sloth enables strong team-wide control when paired with Co-op Powers:
- Super Slow – Lingers in an area, heavily slowing enemies and enhancing battlefield control
- Ideal for zoning, assisting team revives, and stacking Stagger Buildup during enemy phases
Strategy[edit | edit source]
- Let Sloth regenerate fully before entering major encounters
- Use at full charge to maximize Torpor slow duration
- Stack Empathy to improve Co-op Power effectiveness in support roles
- Coordinate with allies to create layered control zones with multiple Sloth users
Visual Indicator[edit | edit source]
- Sloth meter appears in blue and fills slowly on the HUD
- Flashes when full and ready for activation
- Torpor produces a visual mist or glow in its area of effect
Summary[edit | edit source]
Sloth is the embodiment of divine patience in *33 Immortals*. It’s not about rushing into battle, but waiting for the perfect moment to bring time itself to a crawl. Used wisely, Sloth grants control over chaos — and makes you the calm at the heart of the storm.
