Quick facts:Death Penalty
Death Penalty is a core gameplay mechanic in 33 Immortals that determines the consequence of player death during a raid. It is designed to reinforce the importance of survival, cooperation, and revival mechanics in large-scale co-op sessions.
Overview[edit | edit source]
When a player dies during a raid, they are given a short window to be revived by teammates. If the timer runs out without a successful revive, the player's soul is sent back to the Dark Woods, removing them permanently from that ongoing raid. They must then wait and queue for a new session.
Revival Mechanics[edit | edit source]
Players can be revived by nearby allies before the timer expires. Successful revives allow the player to immediately return to the battlefield without further penalty. Quick revives are especially critical during boss fights and high-intensity encounters.
Strategic Importance[edit | edit source]
The death penalty system emphasizes:
- Awareness of positioning and enemy behavior
- Team coordination to protect and revive allies
- Smart use of healing, defensive relics, and co-op powers
Tips for Avoiding Death[edit | edit source]
- Avoid overextending into large enemy groups.
- Stay close to teammates, especially support roles.
- Upgrade your vitality and defense at shrines early in the raid.
- Use Teleport Stones or mobility skills to escape high-threat zones.
