Quick facts:Chests
Chests are locked loot containers found throughout the rebellion zones of 33 Immortals. They reward players with valuable resources such as Relics, Fragments, and Souls, but require a Chest Key to open. Chests are optional, but serve as powerful mid-run boosts that can greatly enhance a Rebel Soul’s strength and survivability.
Overview[edit | edit source]
Chests are scattered across various zones — including Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso, and inside special rooms like Chambers. Each chest is sealed and cannot be opened without spending a Chest Key, which can be acquired as rewards from combat, Elite Monsters, or exploration.
Types of Loot[edit | edit source]
Opening a chest can reward players with:
Locations[edit | edit source]
- Frequently hidden off the main path or behind elite encounters
- Guaranteed at the end of some Torture Chambers or Elite Waves
- Found in each major area: Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso
- Sometimes protected by environmental hazards or mob ambushes
Chest Keys[edit | edit source]
- A single Chest Key is required to open a chest
- Keys are consumed upon use
- Can be found in Chambers, dropped by Elite Monsters, or awarded from events
- Players must choose carefully when to use them, as keys are limited per run
Strategy[edit | edit source]
- Save your keys for mid- or late-run chests with better rewards
- Check surroundings before opening — some chests are traps
- Communicate with allies to share loot opportunities fairly
- Consider synergy between loot and your current Loadout
Visual Indicator[edit | edit source]
- Chests appear as ornate, glowing containers with divine markings
- Locked chests are surrounded by gold seals until opened
- Interact prompt appears when nearby and holding a Chest Key
