Quick facts:Sword of Justice
The Sword of Justice is a Tank-class weapon in 33 Immortals, designed for players who prefer to lead from the frontline, protect allies, and absorb damage. It scales primarily with the Vitality stat and is themed after the virtue of Justice. With its defensive mechanics, powerful guard stance, and area control abilities, the Sword of Justice excels in both solo durability and group survivability.
Overview[edit | edit source]
Players who equip the Sword of Justice take on a defensive role, managing aggro, soaking incoming damage, and providing reactive counterattacks. Its abilities center around building and spending the Justice meter, offering a balance between active offense and tactical defense.
Basic Attack – Sword Slash[edit | edit source]
- Performs a quick melee slash with moderate damage
- Each successful hit generates 10 Justice
- Effective at keeping the Justice meter charged during combat
Charge Attack – Heavy Slash[edit | edit source]
- Unleashes a powerful overhead slash
- Consumes 10 Justice to cast
- Staggers enemies and generates heavy stun
- Can still be activated even at 0 Justice (as of the Jan 28, 2025 beta)
Special Ability – Guard[edit | edit source]
- Enters a defensive stance that blocks all incoming damage
- Consumes 20 Justice per second while active
- If hit during Guard, triggers Gavel Bash:
Launches a counterattack that scales in size and damage with stored Justice Stuns and knocks back surrounding enemies
- Ideal for tanking boss strikes or holding chokepoints during raids
Ability Meter – Justice[edit | edit source]
- Core resource for the Sword of Justice
- Maximum base capacity: 50 Justice
- Generated by hitting enemies with basic or charge attacks
- Spent through Guard and Heavy Slash abilities
Co-op Ability – Bubble Shield[edit | edit source]
- Grants a persistent damage-absorbing barrier to the player or an ally
- The shield blocks all incoming damage until broken
- The shield’s durability scales with the player’s Empathy stat
- Ideal for protecting objectives, allies, or weakened teammates in high-pressure situations
Weapon Masteries[edit | edit source]
Upgrading the Sword of Justice through the Weapon Mastery system grants +1 Vitality per level and unlocks powerful trait modifications that enhance tanking and crowd control capabilities.
Mastery Effects[edit | edit source]
- Shockwave – When above 50% Justice, periodically emits a damaging AoE shockwave
- Final Justice – Always triggers Gavel Bash at the end of Guard, consuming extra Justice
- Inner Justice – Generates Justice passively over time, but disables Justice generation from attacks
- Spin Slash – Converts Heavy Slash into a circular AoE that damages enemies around you
- Frenzy – Light attacks become faster the more Justice you currently have
- Mighty Slash – Slashes become slower, but deal greatly increased damage
(Example: Base 80 damage → 178 with mastery)
Combat Role[edit | edit source]
The Sword of Justice is designed for players who prefer:
- Leading the charge into enemy groups
- Protecting teammates with shields and counterattacks
- Staggering enemies and absorbing boss aggression
- Creating openings for DPS players to finish stunned or distracted enemies
Its strength lies in controlled engagements, where maintaining Justice and positioning can turn the tide of battle — especially in areas like Inferno and Purgatorio, where overwhelming odds demand durable frontliners.
Summary[edit | edit source]
The Sword of Justice empowers Immortals to fight with resilience and leadership. By building and managing the Justice meter, players can control the flow of battle, disrupt enemies, and protect allies through tactical use of Guard, Gavel Bash, and the co-op Bubble Shield. It’s the weapon of choice for those who fight not just for survival — but for order and balance.
