Chest Keys

Chest Keys are a valuable resource in 33 Immortals used to unlock sealed treasure chests found throughout the rebellion zones. These keys are consumed upon use and offer access to powerful rewards such as Relics, Fragments, Souls, and other temporary currencies like Bones or Dust. Chest Keys are limited to each rebellion run and are essential for maximizing mid-run upgrades and team-wide power spikes.

Overview

Treasure chests appear throughout zones like Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso. Some chests are free to open, but the most rewarding ones require a Chest Key. These locked chests are often guarded by elite enemies, hidden in secret locations, or appear as rewards in Torture Chambers and shrine events.

How to Obtain

Chest Keys can be acquired from:

Elite monster drops
Completing Torture Chambers
Opening event-based loot shrines
Destroying breakables in hidden or off-path zones
Occasionally rewarded from boss encounters or support NPCs

Usage

Chest Keys are automatically consumed when opening a locked treasure chest
Only one key is needed per chest, regardless of team size
Opening a chest reveals shared rewards for nearby players, which may include:

 * Rare Relics  
 * Fragments for rerolling  
 * Large amounts of Souls  
 * Currencies of the Dead like Bones or Dust

Strategy

Save Chest Keys for late zones like Paradiso where reward quality increases

Chest Keys are not persistent — they reset after each rebellion run
